About: NID offers a training programme for design educators, during which the trainees will be oriented to design pedagogy and design fundamentals besides encouraging imbibing a culture of learning and dissemination of design education and practice.

Institute: National Institute of Design (NID)

Programme: The Training programme will provide specialised design inputs in areas like automobile, furniture and interior, ceramics and glass  toy and game, textile, apparel, lifestyle, new media and more.

Duration: 2 years

Scholarship: The selected Trainees will be provided an all inclusive scholarship of Rs. 15,000/- in first year & Rs. 20,000/- per month next year.

Eligibility: Graduate/postgraduate in Design/Architecture/ Fine Arts/ Engineering/ Computer science/ Humanities/ Ergonomics/Allied areas, expertise in area of specialisation and open to being trained for a career in Design Education
