ULSAT 2017: UPES conducted law aptitude test on May 13 in 36 cities

ULSAT 2017 has been conducted on May 13. UPES Dehradun, which administers the law school aptitude test organised the exam in as many as 36 cities. The 3-hour exam was held in online mode, which began at 9:30 am. Candidates took the ULSAT for securing a seat among the 400 offered through the aptitude test. UPES Dehradun offers admissions to five-year integrated law programmes including BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB, B.SC LLB, and B.Tech LLB with specializations in various courses. The admissions to 80 per cent of the seats are offered through UPES Law School Aptitude Test (ULSAT). Read more to know about ULSAT 2017.

 

ULSAT: How was aptitude test

 

Candidates appearing in ULSAT 2017 had to answer a total of 150 questions in the three-hour allotted time. The candidates were required to answer questions from five sections in the online exam paper. Each section had 30 questions. Find below the exam pattern of ULSAT 2017.

ULSAT: Marking scheme

 

Candidates were required to respond a question with only one answer option. If the chosen answer option would be correct, it’ll fetch them one mark, else no marks would be deducted for any wrong attempt. The questions which would be left unanswered would be awarded zero (0) marks.

ULSAT: What next

 

UPES Dehradun will announce the results of ULSAT 2017 within a week or two. The test takers who qualify ULSAT 2017 will move to the next round of selection process, i.e., Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI). Based on their performance in ULSAT, GD-PI, a merit list will be prepared by the university for admission to five-year integrated law programmes.
