Further, we have compared, analysed and presented the PhD data for the top five private universities across the nation.
According to our analysis Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar showed the maximum increase in the percentage of students pursuing the PhD programme in three years since 2018-19.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore did not have the data for the year 2018-19.

In 2020-21, Vellore Institute of Technology has the highest number of PhD candidates pursuing and completing the part-time programme. While Siksha `O` Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar reported the lowest number of candidates in the same year.
