I appeared for the TCS Digital Test last August, 2021. My college was among a few colleges where the TCS Digital interview process and Test would be conducted before NQT. But last year saw an end to this trend. This was one of the first placements that came to our college. The test was online and held on the TCS iON digital platform. There was an Infrastructure Readiness Test mail to check in advance if your system is compatible with the software.

The Qualifier Test had both Aptitude test and Coding test (This procedure flow is the same for the people who attend NQT first, but the questions would be relatively simpler in the coding round for NQT. They will then have to attend an advanced round test). It was a three hour long exam.
In the aptitude section, there are:
General Aptitude Questions
Logical Reasoning Questions
Verbal Aptitude Questions
I referred to RS Agarwal's Quantitative Aptitude book apart from the placement training classes at the campus for preparation.
The technical coding section contained 2 coding questions. The questions were based on string manipulation and arrays. The difficulty level was from easy to moderate.
As for me, I had practiced coding interview questions on LeetCode and GeeksforGeeks beforehand, so the coding part was comparatively easier to me.
After the test within a week, I received an email with the date for the interview.
The interview platform was Microsoft Teams and you are supposed to be present with documents like your ID Proof, TCS Application form, resume and marksheets for verification.

The interview panel had three members. Two of them handled the technical side and the other, the HR side. First, there was document verification, where I had to show ID proofs.
Then they asked me what programming language I was comfortable in. Mine was Python.
So they asked me a lot of questions related to Python. These included questions on pickling, lists, files, and even the latest version of the language. So brush up on the basics of the language you worked on.
Then I was asked about the OOP concepts in detail and also to explain with a real life example. They may also ask you to code live. Questions about the implementation of sorting techniques are common.
Then I had questions from my resume, based on the projects I worked on and why you chose a specific tech stack for the project, and they also asked why another competitive stack wasn't preferred.
As for the HR side, I was asked about my knowledge of various methodologies like Scrum and Agile. I was also asked about my location preferences, if I get the job. My whole interview took about 20 minutes, while my friends' took around 45 minutes. Though I was a little tense, I got an email that I cleared the interview the very next day.
Additionally, you might also get asked about your interest/knowledge in and knowledge of the latest advanced technologies like machine learning, cloud computing, etc.
The process doesn't stop with your acceptance after the interview. For people who get Ninja offers, TCS will provide enough opportunities to write a few more tests to upgrade their offer to Digital. And for candidates who got the Digital Offer, they will also be conducting proctored tests to give them starting incentives.
Research about TCS products and services before attending the interview. You can expect a question related to it.
Whenever you are asked to code, think out loud. This helps them to understand your reasoning and logic, even if you are not able to give an output.
Revise search and sorting algorithms. There is a high probability you will be asked to write the code. Make sure you mention only the ones you are confident about.
Be updated with the latest news about the company.
When asked about location preference, do mention your convenient location instead of settling for any.
Be confident : even if you don't exactly know the answer to a question, take a minute to think and analyse if you know anything related to it, before passing on the question. They would always be impressed by your attitude and willingness to learn.
