    Synopsis

Analysis of previous year's papers is of paramount importance to get an idea of the difficulty level of the paper, the types of questions asked, and the important topics for the exam. The analysis of the JEE Main July 2022 Chemistry question paper is given here, which contains a total of 300 questions.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE mains examination every year. The JEE Mains 2022 Examination (JEE) Main was conducted this year in two sessions for admission to the academic year 2022–2023. The JEE mains 2022 second session of July was conducted from July 25 to July 30, 2022, in two shifts. The JEE Main 2022 exam consists of a total of 90 questions from three subjects which are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each subject has 30 questions. In each subject, there are a total of 10 numerical value-based questions and 20 multiple choice questions. There is a choice of 10 numerical value questions, in which only five out of ten questions must be answered.

In this article, we explore the analysis of the JEE Mains 2022 July Chemistry Paper. This analysis can be helpful for upcoming JEE Main aspirants. This analysis is helpful for students in strategy formulation and understanding the demands of the examination, especially for JEE Main Chemistry.

JEE Main 2022 July Chemistry Paper Analysis

The JEE Mains Chemistry paper was held on multiple days; hence, there are 10 sets that contain a total of 300 questions. These 300 questions from 10 sets are analysed by our experts at careers360. Let us go through the analysis done by experts for an effective study. From the JEE Chemistry question analysis 2022, it can be said that only 10 chapters, which are Organic Compounds containing Oxygen, p- Block Elements, Biomolecules, Chemical Thermodynamics, Solutions, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Coordination Compounds were included in the exam. Some basic concepts in Chemistry, d - and f - BLOCK ELEMENTS and Equilibrium, hold a weightage of more than 50 per cent. Thus, these chapters must be read well to ensure 50 per cent of the syllabus's completion. If a student is having paucity of time, these 10 chapters are a must to do so as to make sure that they are able to score the bare minimum marks in the examination.

Also, it can be observed from the sheet of JEE Main Chemistry questions that Organic Compounds containing Oxygen, having 31 questions, holds maximum weightage, then p- Block Elements, having 19 questions, and Equilibrium, having 17 questions, are the top three chapters, accounting for 67 questions.

If smartly prepared, one can score well by focusing on the most important chapters with less effort and less time for JEE chemistry.

JEE Main Chemistry analysis 2022 suggests that there are some chapters which are of more importance, but questions from any chapter can be asked. Hence, students who wish to perform extremely well in JEE Mains must master all the chapters, as leaving a few may pull your score a bit lower. At the same time, the chapters suggested above, which are of importance in nature, must be mastered. Considering the high cutoff in JEE Mains in recent years, to get admission to top engineering colleges, it is necessary to have the best strategy and get proper guidance to stay ahead of others. This analysis must be incorporated by a serious aspirant to streamline their preparation for the upcoming JEE main examination. Along with this, JEE Main Chemistry's Previous year questions must be practised to get an idea of the type and difficulty level of the JEE main chemistry paper.
