    Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Main 2022 session 1 was conducted from June 23, 2022 to June 29, 2022. Paper 1 was conducted for admission to BTech/BE programmes and Paper 2 for BArch/BPlanning programmes. Paper 1 has three subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with equal weightage. From June 24 to 29, 12 shifts of Paper 1 were held, so in this article we bring to you an analysis of 12 papers.

    JEE Main 2022 Chemistry Session 1 Paper 1 Analysis

    Out of 90 questions in JEE Main 2022 Paper 1, 30 questions are from Chemistry. Here the analysis is given for 12 papers of session 1 JEE Main 2022 Chemistry. A total of 360 questions are analysed.

    JEE Main Chemistry analysis shows that Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Hydrocarbon and The P Block Elements have the highest weightage with 29, 24 and 20 questions respectively. Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Hydrocarbon are from Organic Chemistry and The P Block Elements from the unit Inorganic Chemistry. These three units had heigh weightage in the 2021 JEE Main Chemistry Paper with 85, 46 and 38 questions respectively.
