Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Main 2022 session 1 was conducted from June 23, 2022 to June 29, 2022. Paper 1 was conducted for admission to BTech/BE programmes and Paper 2 for BArch/BPlanning programmes. Paper 1 has three subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with equal weightage. From June 24 to 29, 12 shifts of Paper 1 were held, so in this article we bring to you an analysis of 12 papers.

JEE Main Chemistry analysis shows that Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Hydrocarbon and The P Block Elements have the highest weightage with 29, 24 and 20 questions respectively. Organic Compounds Containing Oxygen, Hydrocarbon are from Organic Chemistry and The P Block Elements from the unit Inorganic Chemistry. These three units had heigh weightage in the 2021 JEE Main Chemistry Paper with 85, 46 and 38 questions respectively.
