    Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) Main 2022 June session was held from June 23, 2022 to June 29, 2022. JEE Main has two papers. The JEE Main paper 1 is conducted for admission to BE/BTech courses and Paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch/Planning. Paper 1 was conducted from June 24, 2022 to June 29, 2022. There were 2 shifts in a day. So from June 24 to 29 there were 12 shifts of Paper 1 and each shift had 90 questions. In Paper 1 the 90 questions were divided equally between Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. This article analyses Paper 1 Physics of JEE Main 2022 June session.

    Physics is an important subject that has a weightage of 33.33% in JEE Main. The syllabus is divided into 21 chapters.     Out of the 360 questions, 190 questions are from Class 12 which includes the units Electromagnetics, Optics and Modern Physics. There are 162 questions from Class 11 that includes the units Physics And Measurements, Mechanics, Oscillation And Waves and Thermodynamics. And 8 questions from Experimental Skills. The maximum weightage is for Electrostatics (7.5%) and minimum for Experimental Skills (2.2%). The above table shows that all the units in the syllabus are important for JEE Main.

    Ten Most Asked Concepts JEE Main 2022 June Physics Paper

    Seven questions were asked from the topics Projectile Motion, Series LCR Circuits and Einstein’s Photoelectric Equations. Series LCR circuits, Einstein’s PhotoElectric Equation also had high weightage in 2021 JEE Main Physics papers. There were 10 questions from Series LCR circuits, Einstein’s PhotoElectric Equation in 2021 JEE Main papers.
