    Mettl: Eligibility and Pattern

    The assessment is divided into two tests, which are as:

    (2) MET (Core Engineering) :Core Engineering in Electrical, Core Engineering in Mechanical, Core Engineering in Electronics.

    Students belonging to MBA, BBA, BCom, BSc, BPharm, and BA will only attempt MET for everyone.

    Students belonging to Engineering, both Under-Graduation and postgraduate, will attempt Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, Attention to Detail, and Personality, which are compulsory. They have the option to choose and attempt any two sections out of Computer Fundamentals, business aptitude, Core Engineering- Electronics, Core Engineering- Electrical, Core Engineering – Mechanical

    • In case of Core Engineering, the following will be followed:

    Mechanical Engg, IP Engg, Automobile Engg (Both UG, PG)

    ECE, Instrumentation, Applied Physics, Applied Sciences (both UG and PG)

    • Negative Marking- In the following sections, there will be negative marking, which is 1/4th the total marks. The sections are Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning, Computer Fundamentals, Business Aptitude, Computer Fundamentals, Business Aptitude, Core Engineering- Electronics, Core Engineering- Electrical, Core Engineering – Mechanical
    • Test duration will be between 120 and 160 minutes.
    • Every engineering graduate and postgraduate is required to attempt at least seven sections of MET for Everyone and MET (Core Engineering). Non-engineering candidates will attempt a minimum of six MET for Everyone sections.
    • No student should ever leave the test window while it is open. The candidate will be eliminated because this is considered malpractice.
