The University of Mumbai and its affiliated colleges started releasing the Mumbai University 2022 cut-off from June 29 in online mode, after the application window was closed. Few of the colleges of Mumbai University have even uploaded the third merit list for admissions on their official websites.
Mumbai University is the oldest established university in India along with University of Calcutta and the University of Madras. They were established in 1857 and were the first universities in India as per the University Grants Commission- UGC.
Few of the affiliated colleges of the University of Mumbai releases the cut-off marks along with the merit list. Careers360 collected these cu toff marks for three undergraduate courses namely, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (BSc). Only the first or third cut-off marks for general or open seats are mentioned in the article.
Colleges have a limited number of seats and after the first merit list, if any student does not confirm the seats before a certain mention date it is marked as vacant. The college releases another merit list to fill those vacant seats. This process continues until all the seats are filled. The lowest score by the students in a particular merit list becomes the cut-off of that particular list.

Third Cut-off: Mumbai University
The lowest score among all the merit lists becomes the cut-off of that particular college. This cut-off helps students, appearing for admission next year, to know in which colleges they can get admissions after calculating their score.
