Gujarat ranked at number seven in terms of the highest number of management institutes other than Indian Institute of Management (IIMs). Among the top seven states with the highest number of non IIM or non IIT management colleges, Gujarat with its four colleges had 97.77 per cent of graduates. Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Delhi, Karnataka and Haryana had more such colleges than Gujarat.
As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2023, a total of five management institutes were from Gujarat out of the 100 institutes ranked across the country. Careers360 has excluded IIM Ahemdabad from the analysis because the study includes management institutes other than IIMs.
Through this article, Careers360 has tried to analyse female participation, placement, salary, and geographical diversity of students among the ranked colleges of Gujarat.

Although Gujarat has the seventh position in terms of the number of colleges, it holds the fourth position in terms of female participation among the seven-states-Which is around 40 per cent.
MICA, Ahmedabad had the third-highest number of female participants across the colleges of the seven states.

Maximum students of Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar were from Gujarat domicile. While this college was ranked the lowest, yet this was the only college with foreign students in the 2020-22 batch.

All the institutes have increased their median salary over the last three years. All these institutes had an average median salary of INR 12.40 lakh per annum. While MICA remained the top among all the management institutes in Gujrat in terms of median salary from the last year.
