    Scholarships, especially for those students who are financially weak or belong to underprivileged sections of the society, becomes the necessity or the only means to continue their education and fulfil their dreams. Not only money, but scholarships in a way, also provides guidance to students.

    The number of such students who can manage their education without any financial crunch is very low compared to the number of underprivileged and financially weak students who even don’t have the access to the basic needs of life such as food and shelter. Here come scholarships for their help and assisting them financially so that despite being in bad condition, students must continue their education and make their future bright.

    Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship Programme 2023

    The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation is an NGO that provides interest-free loans to meritorious Indian students who have planned to pursue postgraduate programmes from top institutions across the globe.

    Eligibility:

    • Should be an Indian citizen.

    • Must be below 30 years of age.

    • Must have graduated from a government recognised university in India.

    • Must be looking forward to pursuing a Masters or PhD from a top university or institution in India or abroad.

    Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship And Mentorship Programme

    Keep India Smiling Foundation is an arm of Colgate-Palmolive India Ltd. They provide financial support to meritorious students who, due to their financial problems, are unable to continue their education. Not only financial assistance but it also offers mentorship and career guidance to beneficiaries whenever needed.

    For Class 11

    Eligibility:

    • Should be an Indian citizen.

    • Must have cleared Class 10 in 2022 with at least 75 per cent marks.

    • Must have taken admission in Class 11 in any recognised school in India.

    • The annual family income should not exceed Rs 5 lakhs.

    What It Covers:

    • A sum of Rs 20,000 per annum for two years.

    For Three Year Graduation Programme

    Eligibility:

    • Should be an Indian citizen.

    • Must have passed Class 12 in 2022 with at least 60 per cent marks.

    • Must have taken admission in a three-year graduation programme in any government recognised institution in India.

    • The annual family income should not exceed Rs 5 lakhs.

    What It Covers:

    • A sum of Rs 30,000 per annum for three years.

    For Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Programme

    Eligibility:

    • Should be an Indian citizen.

    • Must have passed Class 12 in 2021 or 2022 with at least 60 per cent marks.

    • Must have taken admission in the first year in any government recognised BDS college in India.

    • The annual family income should not exceed Rs 5 lakhs.

    What It Covers:

    • A sum of Rs 50,000 per annum for four years.

    Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship 2023-24

    This scholarship is offered by the Aga Khan Foundation to meritorious and students with excellent academic records from developing countries. This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to those students who are excellent in studies but due to lack of funds, are not able to pursue their higher studies.

    Eligibility:

    • Should be an Indian citizen.

    • Should not be more than 30 years of age.

    • Must be enrolled in a reputable postgraduate institution for higher studies.

    • Must possess good academic records, strong professional experience and leadership skills etc.

    Note: Priority will be given to the students pursuing a Master Degree programme. However, those who want to pursue PhD can also apply.

    What It Covers:

    • Living expenses and tuition fee of the student for the entire duration of the degree course.

    Kind Circle Scholarship for Meritorious Students

    An initiative of Buddy4Study, Kind Circle Scholarship provides scholarships to academically meritorious students belonging to financially weaker sections of the society. Any student studying in any class or college in India can avail this scholarship provided he/she clears the scholarship interview which is mandatory for all applicants.

    Eligibility:

    • Should be an Indian citizen.

    • Must be studying in any class in any government recognised Indian school or college.

    • Must have scored at least 75 per cent marks in last year’s final exam.

    • The annual family income should not be more than Rs 6 lakhs.

    Note: The student will have to take an interview after applying for this scholarship. After passing the interview, he/she will be considered for the scholarship.

    What It Covers:

    • The scholarship amount will depend on the needs of the student.
