JEE Main, JEE Advanced, MHT CET

Admission to VNIT Nagpur is through the national-level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The JEE Main also serves as a screening test for admission to BTech in the IITs for which the institutes conduct JEE Advanced. Admission in IIT Bombay is via JEE Advanced.

Admission to most state colleges, whether public or private, is through Maharashtra’s state entrance examination – MHT CET – conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. Colleges that have an “All-India” quota may accept JEE Main scores for admission as well. Some, like Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering, Pune, may conduct an exam of their own as well.
