1. Cummins Scholarship Programme

Cummins scholarship programme was started in the year 2012 for talented students from socially and economically backward areas. It aims to help students financially so that they can access higher education in the field of engineering. More than 1,700 students from India have benefitted from this. The scholarship programme also connects the students with senior employees whose role is to mentor the students throughout the programme.

Scholarship Details:

• Students who are pursuing undergraduate/diploma in engineering from any UGC (University Grant Commission)/ State/ Centrally recognised institutions.

• Students from Phaltan, Pune, Jamshedpur, Ahmednagar and Indore can only apply for this scholarship.

• Students must have secured 60 per cent or above marks in their previous years' examination.

• Age should not exceed 25 years at the time of application.

• Preference will be given to 1st and 2nd-year degree/diploma students. Third or last-year students cannot apply.

• Family income not exceeding Rs 3.0 lakhs per annum.

• Scholarship not for those students whose family member has been the beneficiary of the scholarship in the past.

• Admission fees, tuition fees, and Rs.3000 for stationary per year are covered in the scholarship

• Continuation of scholarship if the student is able to secure 60 per cent or more every year

2. IFMA Foundation Scholarship

IFMA Foundation is actively working towards promoting FM (Facility Management) as a career choice among youth. The program was started in the year 1990 and since then it has provided a scholarship of US $ 1.7 million to more than 600 students.

Scholarship Details:

• Scholarship for class 12, undergraduate students, and working students

• Individual scholarships between US $1500 to $10,000 for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in FM (Facility Management) or related program

• GPA (Grade Point Average) requirement for International Students is 4.0

• The application process starts on January 5 (Thursday), 2023. The end date has not been mentioned yet

3. Swami Dayanand Education Foundation (SDEF) Scholarship India

SDEF aims to provide merit-cum-means scholarships to those students who possess ability and talent but lack the financial resources to pursue higher education. The scholarship is for students who get admissions on the basis of merit in undergraduate courses in engineering, MBBS, architecture, IT and pharmacy in government or private institutions.

Scholarship Details:

• Student needs to secure 65 per cent or 6.5 CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) in Class 12.

• 30 per cent preference for female applicants.

• Family income less than Rs 6,.00,000 per annum.

• Students who are beneficiaries of any other scholarship can also apply.

4. KTH India Scholarship

KTH Royal Institute of Technology is one of the leading universities in engineering and technology-based out of Stockholm. KTH India Scholarship was established in 2012. It covers two years of master's course and the recipient students can also go for the student exchange program.

Scholarship Details:

1. The scholarship is for a 2-year master's programme. The scholarship will be extended for the second year if the first-year performance is satisfactory. Monthly allowance for 10 months every year.

2. The scholarship is for engineering and architecture students

3. For Indian students who have completed or are about to complete an undergraduate programme.

4. The scholarship is provided on the basis of academic excellence

5. Assessment is based on GPA (Grade Point Average), undergraduate University rankings, extracurricular activities, student motivation, and work experience in the field.

How To Apply:

1. Application is open from December 1, 2022 and the last date for applications is January 16, 2023.

5. Tata Trust Means Grant 2022-23

Under the Individual Grants Programme run by The Jamsetjee Nusserwanjee Tata Endowment for The Higher Education Of Indians (Established in 1892), this Educational grant offers partial assistance to college (till graduation) and school (from class 8) going students. The grant is not valid for engineering students.

Scholarship Details:

• Fees payment proof must be submitted

• For students studying in Mumbai and Mumbai suburban region

• Only for those students who passed their previous semester exams

• Maximum of two students from one family

• Fee receipts, mark sheets of academic year 2021-22 and family income proof are mandatory
