The main difference between the two examinations is the structure of the question paper and the presence of sections of Biology, English and Aptitude in VITEEE. Practising questions from various reference books, past years’ question papers and sample test questions will familiarise a student with different sorts of questions, grading scheme and important topics.

VITEEE and JEE Main Preparation Strategy

JEE Main consists of fewer questions as compared to VITEEE. One must attempt sample test papers and previous years’ question papers for both the examinations as their patterns are not similar. Taking JEE Main and VITEEE mock tests will help you in improving your test-taking skills and increase speed and accuracy.

    • Prepare a study time table, follow it strictly and keep a record of your daily tasks

    • To begin with, study the concepts from NCERT and to deepen your concepts use reference books and preparation material

    • Study efficiently using the pomodoro technique of studying where you divide your study time into 25-minute intervals, separated by five-minute breaks or pomodoros. After about four such gaps you can take a long break of about 15 to 20 minutes

    • Create your own notes

    • Study consistently

    • Use flowcharts and diagrams

    • Examine mock test papers and previous year question papers

    • Make a strategy to attempt the question paper

    • Manage your accuracy and time smartly
