sir I got 60.14 percentile .iam belongs to ST category.can get seat in any NIT

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 21st Jan, 2020
Balu, you haven't mentioned the State you belong to. This is important to know because the cut offs are different for Home State Candidates and Other State Candidates. So do please let us know your Home State.

Meanwhile, your rank can be predicted by using the formula, (100-your total percentile)*869010/100. In your case, your approximate rank would be 346387 . Let's say the number of candidates for April exam increased to 12,00,000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 12,00,000/100.

With this rank, it might be difficult for NIT. You might be able to get a decent college through JOSAA. But if you want to appear for JEE Advanced, you should appear for April Session.

Sir I got 99.4 percentail in jee mains and i got 70 percentage in my 10+2 can I get seat in josaa nit, iiit

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 21st Jan, 2020

Mouli, we will need your Home State and Category details as the cut offs for Home State Candidates and Other State Candidates are different. Meanwhile,

Your rank can be predicted by using the formula, (100-your total percentile)*869010/100. In your case, your approximate rank would be 5214 . Let's say the number of candidates for April exam increased to 12,00,000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 12,00,000/100.

You will have fair chances in your Home NIT and IIIT with this percentile. But if you can help us with your Home State and Category, we can help you more relevant information. And should you plan on appearing for JEE Advanced, you do certainly qualify as the expected cut off for JEE Advanced is 85 percentile.
