Hello,
Artificial plasmids are lab-designed circular DNA molecules used in genetic engineering to clone, transfer, or express genes. Scientists use artificial plasmids as tools in biotechnology, microbiology, and molecular biology. These plasmids mainly carry important features like antibiotic resistance, promoters, and multiple cloning sites to help in research and gene manipulation. As there are many artificial plasmids, but as you are asking for 30, here's a list of widely used ones in research labs and biotech industries:
1. pBR322
2. pUC18
3. pUC19
4. pUC20
5. pGEM-T
6. pGEM-T Easy
7. pET28a
8. pET21a
9. pET32a
10. pETDuet-1
11. pBluescript KS+
12. pBluescript SK+
13. pACYC184
14. pACYC177
15. pBAD18
16. pBAD33
17. pCDNA3.1
18. pCDNA4/TO
19. pIRES2-EGFP
20. pEGFP-N1
21. pGEX-4T-1
22. pGEX-6P-1
23. pFastBac1
24. pGAD424
25. pSV2neo
26. pRS426
27. pYES2
28. pMAL-c2X
29. pFLAG-CMV
30. pBI12
Different plasmids are selected depending on the organism used, like bacteria, plants, animal cells, and the purpose, like gene expression or protein production.T hese plasmids are essential in cloning, protein expression, and transgenic research. Their structure is modified to suit different host organisms and used in scientific goals. Many new vectors are created regularly to meet advancing research needs. If you’re studying genetics or biotechnology, it's useful to become familiar with at least a few of these names for practical lab work or for preparation for your entrance exams.

hello aspirant,
With an All India Rank of 5,11,509 and Muslim category rank of 2,31,912, you may have a chance to get admission in private BHMS colleges in Kerala through state counselling, especially under the Muslim minority quota or management quota. However, government BHMS seats may be difficult to secure at this rank. Apply through KEAM AYUSH counselling.
hope you got your answer.
Yes, as a PCB student, you can apply for B.Tech in Biotechnology, but it depends on the eligibility criteria set by the university or the entrance exam you want to take. Some colleges might ask for Mathematics for B.Tech courses, but some universities allow PCB students for Biotechnology. Many engineering colleges give admission to students through exams like:
JEE Mains, this exam is mostly for PCM students, but a few private colleges also accept PCB students.
State-level exams are also there; they conduct their own entrance exams (like MHT CET, etc.), where eligibility for biotech may include PCB.
University-level exams include Institutes like Vellore Institute of Technology (VITEEE), SRM Institute (SRMJEEE), or Amity University, which have their own entrance exams and accept PCB students for B.Tech Biotechnology.
Some colleges might give direct admission based on your Class 12 marks, especially for students with a background in biology. But checking the eligibility criteria of each institute is important, as some still ask for Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
You can also explore integrated programs, such as B.Tech + M.Tech in Biotechnology, or B.Sc + M.Sc dual degrees, which are more biology-focused and don’t always require Maths.

Best of luck
As a PCB student planning to do B.Tech in biotechnology here are main entrance exams
1.JEE Main(for some colleges)
Physics, chemistry either Math or biology, some colleges accept Biology for biotechnology.many top colleges offering B.Tech biotechnology accept JEE Main scores but prefrence is often given to student with Math.
2.Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG)
With CUET it is possible to admission to Central universities like BHU ,DU which offer B.sc or B.Tech .
PCB students are eligible.
3.State level Entrance exam
MHT -CET (Maharashtra)
WBJEE( West Bengal)
KCET(Karanataka)
TS EAMCET /AP EAMCET (Telangana/Andhra Pradesh)
4.Private University Entrance exam - some private universities have their own entrance exam and accept PCB students.
Parijat College, Indore
Matushri Ahilya Devi Teachers Education Institute, Indore
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore
Shri Gujarati Samaj B.Ed. College, Indore
Gyanodya B.Ed. College, MIG
Hey, as with the limitation of your number that is 190 it can be difficult to find colleges according to your interest but there is a chance that can effect your ability to find those colleges whose cut off can be really low which will be determined by getting the results in the next season of the next year now there is a possibility of huge options in the private sector as well
Hello Aspirant,
The MGM CET is not a requirement for admission into MBBS courses. All MBBS admissions in India including the MGM Instittue of Health Sciences (Deemed University) take place only through NEET UG per the NMC (National Medical Commission) and their direction. Admission is based on NEET rank through either the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) or deemed university counselling process.
As the admission for GNM nursing is very from state to state and institution to institution which can differ and there are few States that have declared the examination like Rajasthan from August 1 to August 15, West Bengal from July to August and Bihar from April to May. This dates can get changed according to the notifications that will be provided in the website respectfully.
Hello aspirant,
A few universities permit counseling-based admission, however entrance exams are the primary means of admission to the GNM Nursing diploma program. The 2025 GNM nursing application forms will be accessible on the state boards' sites. The subjects that the candidate selected for the 12th grade will determine the entrance exam.
