i scored 360 marks in neet can geet govt vetairnary college iam from Maharashtra and ntb caste

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 11th Aug, 2020

Pranav, NEET 2020 is yet to be conducted and has been scheduled for September 13th. And so it is not clear if you are talking about NEET 2019 score NEET 2019 score is valid only for 1 year and so cant be used for 2020. But if this is the score that you are expecting for 2020, then 360 is quite less. Maharashtra State seats are categorised into Regional and State seats. The State Quota seats are filled divided into 70% Regional quota and 30% State Quota. The 70% Regional quota seats are reserved for Candidates belonging to Vidarbha, Marathwada and Rest of Maharashtra. And the Constitutional quota of Maharashtra is for Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Vimukta Jati/Denotified Tribes, NT-A,B,C,D and OBC. NT-B falls under OBC Category.  So for a seat under NT B Category in a Government Veterinary College, 360 might be a tad less. We do not have previous years data but cut offs do change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So you will need to score atleast 450 and above for a seat in a Government College.
