It's a Question of your Career!
Sir, Im a biotechnology graduate and I want to do my MS . Please tell which exam would better to pursue the same, GATE or GRE?
If we think on the basis of future prospects and importance then GRE is better than GATE
Here is the explanation
1.) GRE is comparatively easy exam which requires at least 4-5 months and it is globally accepted.
2.) GRE score is valid for 5 years and many abroad universities take into account GRE score.
3.) If you decide to take admission in abroad then do go for GRE.
4.) Being a biotechnology graduate the scope in abroad is good and hence give it a try
5.) It is less competitive and it requires around 25k -30 k for preparation.

Thank you and all the best
i got 49 score in pte can i apply for australia
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic is conducted for candidates willing to pursue their education abroad especially Australia.
There is no cutoff marks in PTE but there is a desired score above which universities prefer students for admission. And that desired score is around 55-60 since past years, and with 65+ you get higher points in your application. With 49 score, chances of acceptance are less but not nil, so you may apply to universities where acceptance on low score is valid.
For further doubts, ask us. For more information; PTE 2020
can i apply for australia with 49 pte scorw
You need a minimum marks of 60 to apply for Australian skilled immigration program.
If you score above 50 and less than 65 then you will be eligible to apply for Australian PR, but this score doesn’t give you any points, you will secure competent English which is the minimal English language criteria to apply. Above 50 in PTE gives ‘zero’ points for PR points tally. score of 65 and above, less than 79 gives you 10 points.
Are the marks of both SAT and TOEFL/IELTS required to take admission abroad in Bsc of physics? And if both are required then what should be their respective scores to get a cinfirm admission in an institue? What minimum marks are required to get admission in top institutes abroad?
For getting admission in Bachelors of Science (BS) Physics major, one need to follow the given steps:
- You need to apply for SAT and qualify
- You also need to qualify TOEFL/IELTS as they are language proficiency test which clears that the candidate can understand the Foreign language
- Apply to particular colleges you wish
For SAT an ideal score to be eligible for US colleges would be more than 1570. And for TOEFL your score should lie between 90-100 for higher chances of selection. Rest depends upon your Profile and SOP.

i am 12th passout in 4th attempt with low percentage but i scored 7.0 in ielts so i am qualifies for foreing education?
Vatsal, you haven't mentioned what you want to study abroad. But apart from your Academic profile, you should also have a strong Statement of Purpose and References by which the University can understand your passion for studying in their Institution. Of course there will be questions regarding the academic performance but Candidates with multiple attempts usually are considered in Universities abroad.
What is the score required in GRE and TOEFL for Masters in Data science in Carnegie Mellon university?
There is no definite cutoff score. There is no assurance of getting an admit from CMU even if a student has a perfect score of 340. The decision depends on a variety of factors. A GRE score above 325 would be a decent bet for CMU. However, the GRE score needs to be complemented by a balanced profile, strong letters of recommendation and a well-written SOP
A good CGPA, relevant research projects and publications, internships, previous academic records, and work experience also contributes greatly.
As far as TOEFL is concerned, even the bare minimum should be enough. It is only a proof of your knowledge in English.
Hope this helps!
