hello!actually I dont have mtg fingertips hardcopy with me to practice but I have soft copy and I also practice from there but I also have few apps where I solve mcq so what should I prefer mtg fingertips or app???

Dr. Skand kandwal 30th Nov, 2021
Hello dear
I will prefer book hard copy
mtg fingertips chemistry is best for neet aspirant.
I thoroughly recommend this book to every NEET aspirants, also helpful for other medical competitive exams.
Mtg is a very nice book but i can say that apart from the NCERT and The study material from your coaching for chemistry mtg can be sufficient but for physics you can go for DC Pandey instead of it as it is a better option .
Mtg is one of the best book prefer by students while preparing for NEET exam. MTG is best for quick revisions and solving questions as it having mcqs, chapter wise papers ,assessments, revisions question and more importantly the fingertips for quick revision extracted from NCERT books.

Hope you will get some help
Best of luck

Is it compulsory to upload aadhaar card during NEET state counselling registation..? Can we use other documents like pan card instead of aadhaar card..?

Debanjali Goswami 30th Nov, 2021

hey kruthi,

hope you are doing well. So here i am enlisting the norms and your requirements that you need for state quota neet counselling registration:

Original documents (along with self attested photocopies of documents) for admission to under-graduate medical courses for admission to that particular State Quota seats and Private, management quota seats are as mentioned below.

a. Acknowledgement slip generated online after successful enrolment in pre-counselling
b. Domicile certificate (a1, a2, b) or domicile certificate from e-district website as the case may be.
c. Voter card/Aadhar card/Passport of parents in case of domicile certificate of parent and of the candidate.
d. Caste certificate as applicable.
e. NEET UG 2021 admit card.
f. NEET UG 2021 Rank card.
g. PwD certificate if applicable
h. Payment of fees proof (generated online).

So I guess from point(c) its clear to you that you can upload either of the documents for registration.
i. Age proof ( age should be 17 years by 31.12.2020)
j. Class 10+2 mark sheet
k. Medical Certificate ( from Registered Allopathic Medical Practitioner)

If i havent put my surname in any documents of mine and Im giving neet exam so would it effect it? means having no surname in any documents of mine can cause any issue in neet ug or pg? Awaiting for response Thanks,

Jatin panchal 30th Nov, 2021

HEY STUDENT

IF YOU DON'T PUT SURNAME AFTER YOUR NAME IT DON'T AFFECT AT ALL.BUT YOUR ALL DOCUMENTS CONTAIN SAME SEQUAL OF NAME . LIKE IF IN ADHAR CARD YOUR NAME AND SURNAME BOTH ARE WRITTEN BUT WHILE FILLING UP FORM YOU WROTE ONLY NAME , NOT SURNAME THEN PROBABLY IT AFFECT IN COUNCELLING OR WHILE YOUR DOCUMENTS VERIFIED. SO KEEP IN MMIND THAT YOU HAE SAME NAME SEQUAL ON DOCUMENTS THAT YOU WRITTEN IN ADMISSION FORM.

Do we have to score 50 marks individually in Physics, Chemistry and Biology to be eligible in Neet or total score 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I am from Gujarat State Education Board. I have scored 72 in Biology, 50 in Physics, and 35 in Chemistry Do am I eligible for Neet.

Debanjali Goswami 30th Nov, 2021

hey there,

hope you are doing well. so heres the main answer to your query:

The minimum neet eligibility criteria according to official websites updates states:

The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying examination. For students belonging to SC/ST or OBC category, a minimum of 40% marks must be obtained to be eligible for the NEET examination.  For students with loco motor disability of Lower Limbs, minimum marks of 45% are required for General-PH. For SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH, a minimum of 40% marks are required.

Category Minimum Marks
General 50%
SC/ST/OBC 40%
PH/PWD 45% (depends on the category to which the candidate belongs)

So I guess now its crystal clear that your marks do meet the above criteria and hence you eligible to apply for Neet exam.

all the best dude!!!...

i belongs to sc category kannada medium student and i scored 411 marks in 2021 NEET exam can i get govt medical clg this year in karnataka or not

Moumoyee Chakraborty 29th Nov, 2021

Dear applicant with the marks you obtained, 411 and since you are a student of SC Category your chances of admission into government colleges are moderate, but in private colleges are flawless. This is due to the past few years cut-off trends which show with 411 marks getting Goverment College is somewhat difficult. But yes you can wait for the Counselling rounds to get over, my suggestion would be, use our NEET UG college predictor to predict the best possible colleges based on your rank

Certain suggestions :

1. Medical is a great field to be in, worth every penny spent

2. If you think you are ready for a life of social service and long working hours this is a great field

3.Get into a private college if you have a fighting score

4. Take financial counselling if you opt for educational loan

Possibility to get in a college- GITAM last year it's cut off was 197

All the very best
