two forces equal to p and 2p newton act on a particle . If the first be doubled and second will be in increased by 20N , the resultant is unaltered . find the value of p??

Saunkita Mallick 25th Sep, 2020

Hello, hope you are doing well!

Suppose your particle is at origin and you are applying force P and 2P from any side, and if the first force(P) is doubled it will become 2P and if second force is (2P)  is increased by 20N it will become become 2P+20N. Now the resultant would be same or unaltered only when the ratio of (P and 2P) would be equal to the ratio of (2P and 2P+20P).

That is (P/2P)=(2P/(2P+20)) => 1/2=(2P/(2P+20)) => 2P+20P=4P => 2P=20 => P=10. so, the value of P comes out to be 10N, and That is your answer.

Thank you

If you want to study abroad, you need to qualify one language exam and one standardised exam. Some standardised extrance exams for abroad study are GMAT, GRE, SAT, ACT, M AT, or LSAT, etc.

Some language exams are IELTS, TOEFL, PRE, etc.

It is quite difficult to tell you about which exam provides scholarship, but for that the most crucial criteria in almost all exams are not able to pay fee or you can if your family income is very less, then it can be done.

Hope you got it. Good luck!!

I want to go Australia after completing my graduation, how can i prepare for ielts by myself with graduation.

Sreeja Siva 20th Sep, 2020

Hi,

It is an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non native English language speakers. The main objective of the test is to assess the listening,reading and writing skills of the candidates. To prepare for IELTS by yourself you can start by watching and listening programmes conducted in English (without subtitles are better) and can improve the pronunciation and vocabulary. Also start reading articles with proper pronunciation. There are videos available in YouTube which might help you to prepare for the exam. There are also so many online and offline books which will help you to prepare for the exam. Some of them are

  • The Official Cambridge Guide To Ielts Student's -
Book by Amanda French, Pauline Cullen, and Vanessa Jakeman
  • Cambridge Vocabulary for IELTS Advanced with Answers: Self-study Vocabulary Practice
Book by Pauline Cullen

This are some books. You can buy it and prepare yourself .All the best.
