Event management as a career profile requires one to organise large scale events such as conferences, parties, conventions, concerts etc. In all these events, an event manger needs to know and identify the reason behind organising the event and thereafter he/she needs to work on finding out who are the target audience and what are their likes and dislikes. Further, in order to make the event a success, the event manager needs to devise a theme for the event and thereafter plan the logistics as well as identify and coordinate the technical aspects well in advance, before the actual event is to take place.
