Dear Mohit Meena,

Great that you have put across a question and I see you’re worried. First of all don’t worry much. Secondly, it’s great that you have appeared for CLAT and have acquired an All India-ST Category Rank of 164, which is indeed very good.

Now I assume that you have applied for CLAT under the ST category and hereby your problem of not getting any NLU under General Category Rank is of no use to you.

Now, coming to your query, if you’ve been allotted a seat in any of the NLUs under the AI-ST category and if you’ve not withdrawn your seat, you’ll be liable to get the same NLU or an NLU of the higher choice in the third and last seat allotment of CLAT 2018.

I hope this clarifies most of your doubts. If still there is something left out, feel free to counter-question me and I’ll be happy to answer that too.

Keep asking questions as it’s the best way to know what you’ve not known until now.

Thank you.

Dear Mohit,

This is what I explained earlier. If you've been given an NLU under the ST category in the first two rounds of CLAT Counselling, then you'll be given the same NLU or any other NLU of your higher preference in the third and the final admission counselling round.

Thank you.
