Dear Priyanka Rane,
Indian Army has been recruiting women officers from 1992 onwards and at least 1200 officers have been commissioned so far. The minimum requirement is that you should be a graduate and the age limit is 25 years except for technical posts, which is 27 years.
So, you can apply for an officer's post if you are a graduate in any stream and for technical posts you should have a degree in engineering or law or medicine or vetenerary science, depending on the post advertised for.
The 3 types of entry schemes for women are:
1. Short Service Commission Non Technical Women (SSCW -Non Tech); advertised by UPSC in July and November every year
2. NCC (Special) Entry Women; advertised by Directorate General Recruiting/AG Branch in June and Decemebr
3. Short Service Commission (Technical) Women (SSC Tech Women); advertised on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in in December -January and June-July
The qualification for SSCW (Non Tech) is graduation in any stream. For NCC (Special) you require 50% in graduation with two year's service in NCC Senior Division Army with minimum 'B'grade in 'C' Cerrtificate exam. For SSC (Tech Women) you need a technical degree like Engineering or Law, as the case maybe, in the stream notified and the age limit is 27 years.
For all the three types of recruitment, the marital status should be 'unmarried'.

Best of luck!
