Dear Manav, 556 is a good score. In 2018  under State Quota, 518 marks secured a seat in Guru Gobind Singh Medical College. That was the cut off. Going by previous cut offs and your expectant score, you have a fair chance at:
GMC, Amritsar
GMC, Patiala
Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats available, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. You can also check the cut offs of various different colleges under your category at:https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-punjab/amp

Hi Manav,
According to last year's cut-offs, these are the cut-offs for Government MBBS Colleges in Punjab for candidates having 85% state quota while being in the UR category.
Government Medical College, Amritsar
Rank - 13969
Marks - 523
Government Medical College, Patiala
Rank - 10363
Marks - 537
Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot
Rank - 15351
Marks - 518
Rank predictor predict that your all India rank will be anywhere in the range of 5600-7100. This means that even if if your rank tends to fall because of the easy question paper this year, you will most probably end up getting a government MBBS seat in Punjab provided that you have the 85% state quota.
Thank you and all the best.
