Hello Raji,

There is no such thing as best exam to get into IIT. It is because, there is only one route to get admission into the IITs. It is through JEE ( Main + Advanced). You have to first appear in JEE Main and if you qualify, you will have take JEE Advanced. It is based on JEE Advanced scores that you will be considered for admission at the IITs. Also, JEE Main is only used to screen or shortlist candidates and not for admission.

JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted by IIT Kanpur. Also, for the first time the entrance exam will be conducted in complete online mode. If would like to read more about the exam, follow this link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced

Regards.

Hi Raji, For admissions into IIT, you will have to qualify JEE Advanced examination. JEE Advanced is conducted annually and on the basis of your JEE Advanced scores, you will be offered admission into the 23 IITs. From 2017, JEE Advanced will be held in online mode. However, to be eligible for JEE Advanced, you will have to first qualify JEE Main examination. Only those candidates who have qualified JEE Main exam will be able to sit for the JEE Advanced exam. Hope this solves your query. If you require any more information, feel free to ask.
