I'm happy to inform you that yes you can apply through your improved marks. Let it be any test, you can ignore the previous certificate and start applying with your new certificate with an increased percentage.

But you've to make sure that during the verification process of the respective entrance you're going to give; you should have your NIOS certificate with you. Sometimes what happens is; they take certainly longer time to provide you the improved certificate. Make sure that doesn't happen.
