Established in 1950, Chaudhary Mahadev Prasad Degree College often abbreviated to CMPC is one of the oldest colleges of India. Earlier undertaken by the ‘Kayastha Pathshala’, Asia’s biggest trust is now affiliated to the University of Allahabad. It imparts education in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Law. Each year it welcomes nearly 4000+ students in their undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional courses in these fields. Students are admitted to the college through its entrance exams UGAT, PGAT, LAT conducted by the University of Allahabad followed by a counseling session and merit list.
