Is it a myth that solving 10 years question papers will sure shot get a good rank in the NEET examination?

For NEET exam, practicing the last 10 year question papers will be helpful for students. There are a total 180 questions of 720 marks and for 600+ marks means that a student should answer 150 questions without error. In my opinion, after observing previous year papers, out of these 150 questions, I can say that questions were not repeated but were based on the same concept or same principles. So the standard of questions is not increasing every year.

Even if the level is increased for this year, chances are less but in case lets say 30 questions may be asked in a different way still then 150 questions will be of the same standard.

If you practice previous year papers and go for examination then that won't help you completely but by practicing those 10 years papers you will get to know from which concepts questions are being asked and keeping that in mind if you modify the preparation then it will help you.

Well, it is advisable to solve the previous year question papers, not because they guarantee that you will get good score but this is suggested so candidates can learn how to manage time and what is the pattern of question paper. Also, it helps to clear that what can be the difficulty level of questions. Also, solving previous year problems will help you to analyze your weak points which you need to prepare again.
