What is mean by jee main paper 2?
Joint Entrance Examination or JEE is a national level engineering entrance exam which is held every year and is gateway to IITs and NITs for anyone who aspires to be part of them.It is generally a common entrance exam for admission to different engineering courses across the country.It was conducted by CBSE till 2018 but from 2019 it is conducted by NTA.
JEE Mains has two papers-Paper 1 and
Paper 2.Candidates may opt for either or both of them .
Paper 1 is for all undergraduate engineering programs and paper 2 is for Architecture and planning programs.
Paper 2 consists of three parts-Mathematics,Aptitude Test and Drawing Test. Mathematics and Aptitude Test are in "Computer Based Test" Mode while Drawing Test is in "Pen and Paper Based" mode.

One need not clear JEE Mains Paper1 to get admission into B.Arch / B.Planning in NITs and CFTIs. On the other hand, you don't need to appear forJEE-Main paper 2 in order to qualify for architecture at IITs. You just need to appear for JEE Main paper-1 and need to qualify it.
