There's no major difference, but just a term or title given to NDA & NA. It's that the exam is named like that. However, both have different full forms, while the exam is only one which is conducted by UPSC only.
NDA & NA is termed as NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY & NAVAL ACADEMY EXAMINATION. However, there are different wings for which the eligibility and requirements are different. You have to opt for the wing you aspire to join. For Army Wing of NDA, you need to have passed/appearing 12th of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent exam, while for Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy, you should have passed or appearing 10+2 of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics.
