To get admission at KPMSOL, one needs to appear for the CLAT examination. One also needs to fill up the admission form that can be downloaded from the KPMSOL website. The admission is purely based on the CLAT score. The admission process is extremely well managed and we are guided by the staff at every step.

CLAT 2016 shall be conducted in online mode where the paper will have 200 questions from five different subjects including English (Comprehension), General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability), Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

On their website in the instruction sheet they habe mentioned that the Admission is given through the CLAT score or the written test and personal interview that they conduct. So I wanted to know the syllabus for the written test conduct by KPMSOL

CLAT Syllabus for LLM – topics from Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, and other law subjects. Equal weightage is given to Constitutional law and Jurisprudence section. Total 150 questions are asked from this section.

CLAT Syllabus for LLB –  topics from English including Comprehension, GK & Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude, and LR. High weightage is given to GK, Current affairs, and Legal Aptitude. Total of 200 questions appears from this section.

CLAT LLB exam comprises of 200 questions.

Each question carries 1 mark, and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

CLAT Syllabus for English – tests a candidate’s proficiency in English. There are 40 questions in this section. The section usually has three major components viz.

 

Vocabulary – it will majorly cover synonyms, antonyms, and analogies.

Grammar – you will have to correct the grammatical errors in questions, fill in the blanks with appropriate words etc.

Comprehension – will test the understanding of a passage including its central theme and word meanings. 

CLAT syllabus for mathematics  helps to understand the fundamental arithmetic skills of candidates. The level of questions is up to 10th standard. There are 20 questions from this section that are expected to be of easy to moderate level. To score well, make sure to brush up all the basics formulas and concepts of elementary level. Important topics for Elementary Mathematics in CLAT are:

commercial mathematics - profit n loss,discount,partnership

modern mathermatics-permutation and computation

mensuration - areas, volume

data interpetation-graph,charts

arithmetic-number system,HCF,LCM, log,decimals,fractions

GK and current affairs -There are 50 questions from this section that tests a candidates level of awareness within the country and worldwide as well.There will be static GK questions as well. Static GK signifies facts about the places, people and things that will remain same in the future as well.

Questions are asked from the recent topics and current affairs broadly featuring between March 2019 and April 2019
