Hello, KVPY is a national level fellowship programme started by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India to encourage students who wish to take up research as a career in Science. Its aim is to encourage the talented students and motivate them to pursue career in research. Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore conducts the KVPY exam. Students enrolled in 11th, 12 standard and in the 1st year of an undergraduate program in Basic Sciences are eligible to apply for KVPY. Go through KVPY Eligibility Criteria 2019 to know in details. You can also practice KVPY Mock Test 2019 to know the type of questions asked in the actual exam.

Hello chaitali,

I think that you are assuming kvpy as a college.I want you to know that kvpy is not any college or university,but it is an entrance exam to get admission in Indian institute of science(IISC),Indian institute of science education and research (IISER),Indian institute of space technology (IIST) and many other research colleges in India.

Candidates who pass Kishore vaigyanik protsahan yojna (KVPY) are also providesd fellowship.This exam is conducted by IISC bangalore.For receiving a fellowship, both aptitude test and interview marks are consideredGenerous fellowships are provided up to the pre-Ph.D. level to the selected KVPY Fellows.
