Hello,

For practicing as a doctor in the USA you have to give USMLE as this is the licensing exam. Even students who have studied medicine in US have to give the USMLE exam. Any college which is under the list released by the US government can apply for USMLE. Once you qualify USMLE you can apply for residency in the US.
