Yes, you are eligible for pursuing a Mathematics major at Tezpur University. There are two courses offered by the Mathematics department for which you are eligible.

• Integrated MSc in Mathematics- You should have passed 10+2 exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognised Board. Selection to the course will be based upon admission test and/or interview conducted by the Department.
• Integrated B.Sc B.Ed in Mathematics - You should have passed 10+2 exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognised Board. Selection to the course will be based upon admission test and/or interview conducted by the Department.

Hi, for sports quota the participates who get a position like 1st, 2nd or 3rd are prefered over the ones who only participated. But you still stand a chance because they (the university) will test you in the field too. There is no harm in trying the sports quota if you are selected through the first round you will have field trial. I hope this helped.
