Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University is one of the most well-known colleges that provide education in Agricultural Sciences. The university has girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. The girls hostel has sufficient rooms for sizeable number of female students. The primary aim of this centre is to provide medical facility to the students. Regular health checkups are made by a medical practitioner appointed by the college. The Primary Health Center at the University extends its medical facilities to the students and the staff.
The University has total collection of over 2,00,000 books and subscribes to 500 Indian and foreign periodicals . The Central Library receives 125 copies of ANGRAU Research Journal from the University press to be exchanged with various National and International Institutes. The Agricultural Information and Documentation Centre (AGRIDOC) located in the central Library takes care of information need of the scientists at all the 67 University research stations. The publications include union catalog of periodicals in ANGRAU libraries, agricultural dissertations index, agricultural dissertations abstracts, APAU guidelines of presentation of thesis and "Current Agricultural Titles" backed-up with supply of free photocopies of papers from foreign and Indian periodicals.
The centre is equipped with the latest generation computers and operating on various kinds of Operating systems catering to all computing needs of the University. Recently, computer networking has been introduced in the University to gain access to latest scientific advances and related information across the globe. Almost all departments of the colleges were provided with computers for use by the staff and students. Installation of Local Area Network (LAN) is in progress in all the six zonal headquarters, colleges as well as University headquarters. The Computer Center is equipped with the latest facilities including Internet connectivity, to cater to the needs of the faculty and students.
The University has well-designed multi purpose auditorium of International standards constructed at Lam Guntur. It has sophisticated infrastructure to conduct meetings, seminars, symposia, and international conferences covering a plinth area of 5000 square meters. The main hall of the auditorium can accommodate 1000 delegates. The auditorium is furnished with AC facility of 90 ton capacity.The auditorium is equipped with the latest audio video equipment such as projectors, DTS system, Morten stage lighting system with Computer Control Camera coverage.
The college has well-maintained labs where students can enhance their application-based skills. It is also equipped with all the standard and advanced-level equipment required in the field of agricultural sciences.
The college has also ensured that students train themselves in the gym whenever they get the time. The college believes in the overall development of students both in terms of knowledge and physical well-being.
separate hostels for year wise students in which 3 for boys and 1 for girls and in hostel mess provide fine dining experience. The hostel fee is INR 90,000. .PGs are good but it is easy and safe to stay in the hostel. There are five canteens in our college. .Good quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, dining hall, etc.
