The Acharya N.G. Ranga University comes under the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU) and was established on 12 June 1964. The college is situated in Guntur and conducts placements through its training and placement cell. The college ensures that students are provided training from the experts in the industry. How are placements conducted? 

Invitation: The college invites potential companies and previous recruiters to conduct placements at their campus. The interested companies accept the invitation and respond via sending job profile, description, requirements, and other documents via email. 

Slot Fixation: Once the college receives confirmation emails for the placement drive from the recruiters they fix dates and time slots and the same is informed to the students through an announcement. 

Pre-Placement Talks: As per the decided date the companies arrive at the college campus and deliver a talk about their company, the work environment, achievements, policies, and others. Students that have doubts can ask their queries in this session. 

Screening Test: Once the candidates are shortlisted, they are tested based on their aptitude, logical | verbal reasoning, general knowledge, psychometrics, and beyond. This is to ensure that students have excellent knowledge and awareness about their domain, and have a solid IQ. 

Group Discussion: The qualifying candidates have to show their critical thinking skills and soft skills by putting out their opinions in a group discussion. The group discussion topic can be social, political, business, or generic. 

Personal Interview: Students that qualify for the tests will then appear for an interview which will analyze the students upon their presentation and communication skills. Once the interviews are conducted, the results are either announced on the same day or informed to the placement cell via email in the next 2-3 days along with job offers of students.
