The training and placement cell of the university is responsible for providing job placement for students in top companies and preparing them through workshops, seminars, mock interviews, and other methods to appear before these companies. The cell aims to make students aware of the job opportunities available to them and make them well employable through training. The Diploma in Teaching programme at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh is a full-time, two-year degree that includes four semesters of social science faculty work. The department conducts a test as a requirement for enrollment in this course. The test consists of several sessions, such as general awareness and current affairs, English language, reasoning and intelligence, indo-islamic culture and Aligarh movement, Accountancy, Business studies, Economics, elementary mathematics and statistics and numerical ability.
For candidates from the C/ST/BC/OBC categories, there are no such cost reductions or refunds available for online programmes. After being accepted into a university programme, a student cannot withdraw from the programme. However, 100 per cent of the fees will be reimbursed if the student notifies the programme of their intent to leave at least 15 days prior to the officially announced deadline for enrollment in the regular courses.
