About Amity University, Mumbai

Amity University Mumbai was established under the Maharashtra Govt. Act of 2014 of Government of Maharashtra and recognised by the UGC Act as per section 2(f) with the right to confer degrees. The university is spread over a campus of 30 acres with a total number of students enrollment of 3,608. The total faculty member present at the university is 179. Amity University Mumbai offers a variety of courses in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral streams. Amity University has three schools affiliated to it- Amity Global Business School, Mumbai; Amity Global Business School, Pune and Amity Law School, Mumbai. The institute provides scholarships and facilitates placement opportunities to all its students.

Amity University Mumbai has various tie-ups with IBM, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, CA Technologies among others for the enhancement of skills of its students. Admissions to the university are offered to students at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level in a variety of disciplines. Amity University Mumbai Merit Scholarship

Amity University Mumbai scholarships based on merit are granted to students who perform well during their studies in an academic field. These scholarships are instituted by the university to recognise the students for their performance. It is awarded at the end of the first year after the declaration of the results and renewed based on the academic performance after the ending of each academic year. These scholarships are awarded from the beginning of the programme and reviewed each year. The eligibility criteria, the number of merit based scholarships and its amount are given in the following table.

Moreover, a 10% fee concession is also awarded to students per semester who have passed out from any Amity institutions. This fee concession is only applicable if the student does not have any gap year between passing the qualifying examination and seeking admission in Amity University.

Amity University Mumbai Sports Scholarships

Amity University Mumbai offers sports scholarships to attract talented sportsmen to Amity University. The students must have met the academic criteria for receiving the sports scholarship. Students eligible for sports scholarships are admitted in two ways. Fast Track admission is offered to students based on their application form and sports certificate of the previous three years. They are exempted from appearing in sports trials and interviews. 100% scholarships are awarded to students who have represented the nation and 50% scholarships are awarded to national level medal winners. Moreover, admissions are also offered through sports trial and interview after reviewing their application form and sports certificate of the previous three years. They are entitled to 25% scholarships if they have participated in national games.
