60 MonthsIntegrated MA English Language and Literature Program. The Program seeks to give students a solid foundation in all of the recognised precepts of English literature that fall under the ambit of the curriculum. It adheres to the choice-based credit system of the university regulations, which are based on the requirements of the UGC Regulations.The Program offers a mix of Core and Elective courses throughout ten semesters with the opportunity to leave the Program at the conclusion of the sixth semester.The students earn a majority of their credits from the core courses, and they have freedom to choose from a variety of elective courses to fulfil their credit requirement for each semester.
The program’s goal is to increase students’ capacity for analysis, research thinking, and investigation, transforming them into engaged readers and writers who appreciate literature and society and are capable of speaking clearly in both academic and professional settings.
Age: Candidates born on or after 1st July 2002.
Educational Qualification: 12th or equivalent with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks and a minimum of 60% marks for English from CBSE /State Board/ICSE
