Course Details

B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) is a five-year degree program, which integrates Arts with Law. The subjects like Political Science, History and Sociology are taught along with Law subjects enabling students to develop expertise in verbal questioning and complex information elucidation. This course facilitates the students to aim for Judiciary and other competitive examinations as their career goals. The students who dream to make a career in law as a practicing lawyer or those who wish to contribute towards society can also take this course and fulfill their aspiration. Students will have option to choose Constitutional Law and Human Rights as their specialization in fourth year out of numerous other options available to them. Joining the international organizations as human rights expert in another area for the law graduates, which is still unexplored.
Each year of study is divided into two semesters with focus on theoretical lectures, moot court drills, case studies, research aptitude, clinical legal education and regular internships. This provides valuable opportunity to students to hone both their written and oral advocacy skills in this competitive field.
Admission Process
- Admission is based on the 50% weigh-tage to 10+2 marks, 25% weigh-tage to interview and 25% CLAT/ LSAT/ AILET/ AULET Score.
- Candidates who do not have CLAT/ LSAT / AILET score will have to take Ansal University Law Entrance Test (AULET).
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the Overall aggregate of 50% marks in 10+ 2 standard or equivalent examinations along with CLAT / LSAT / AILET scores. Candidates who do not have CLAT/ LSAT / AILET score will have to take Ansal University Law Entrance Test (AULET).
