See this is a very subjective question as the Data Science industry is booming like anything in the current scenario and in such a case getting into the online program of Indian Institute of Technology Madras in Data Science is a good way for tapping into the huge potential of the current job market.

First of all, it's the first choice of individual student to go for their topic of interest if we have got the respective rank, according to their interest. Considering by IIIT M you mean IIIT Manipur so let me tell you that if you are a general category candidate then as per my prediction and looking at the previous year trends you need to get 97.5+ percentile for cse branch and for electronics and communication branch 97 + percentile would be enough.

• Number of candidates appearing in the examination.
• Number of vacant seats in college.
• Previous year cut offs.
• Difficulty level of the paper.
