About Auro University, Surat

Auro University, Surat was founded by Rama family and was established under the Gujarat Private University Act 2009 in the year 2011. The university is approved by the State Government and is a self-financed private university. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses to the students through School of Business, School of Hospitality Management, School of Information Technology, School of Law, School of Sciences, School of Design, School of Journalism & Mass Communication and School of Liberal Arts & Human Sciences.

Location

The university is located at AURO University Earthspace, Hazira Road, opposite to ONGC, Surat, in Gujarat. Surat Railway Station is 18 km away from the institute. Surat International Airport is approx 7 km away from the university. Auro University, Surat is around 14 km away from Adajan Bus Depot. Candidates can hire a taxi or take an auto-rickshaw to reach the institution.

Foodie Club: The members of this club are engaged in organising culinary events and encourage the interest of students in culinary activities.
Dramatics Club: Dramatics Club is for theatre enthusiasts. This club consists of actors and performers. It organises events like street plays, stage plays etc.

Auro University, Surat Placement

Auro University, Surat has a training and placement cell to organise the placement procedure for the students. Students are also provided training programmes on personality development and communication skills and help them prepare better for the recruitment process. The Institute also makes sure that they can help most of the students getting placed into various companies by helping them in every possible way. Auro University, Surat also conducts mock tests and practice session classes on Aptitude, Quantitative Ability, Logical and Reasoning to make students practice and get better before appearing for the final Interview and Written Test. Students are also given internship opportunities in order to gain exposure to the corporate world and get an insight into the real corporate world. The detailed description of the whole procedure of placement is mentioned below.

Invitation- The T&P cell of Auro University, Surat coordinates with the recruitment companies and sends an invitation along with annexure to those companies and the recruiters in return need to fill all necessary information in the annexure. The Training and Placement Cell then fix their dates with various recruiters based on the salary packages and other eligibility criteria offered by the recruitment companies.
Registration- Students need to register themselves with the T&P cell for the placement drive along with all required documents and students satisfying all eligibility criteria will be asked to proceed further for the recruitment process.
Slot-Allocation- Recruiters will then fix dates with the Institute to visit the campus for conducting the recruitment process via various steps including Written Test, Group discussion and Interview.
Pre-Placement Talk- Students of Auro University, Surat are given a pre-placement talk by different recruiting companies to make them aware of the policies, roles and job profiles offered by them.
Written Test- Students of Auro University, Surat also need to appear and qualify a written test classified into different sections including Quantitative aptitude, Logical and Reasoning ability, English competency etc to test the skills and basic knowledge of students.
Group Discussion & Interview- Students of Auro University, Surat who will qualify the written test also need to qualify Group Discussion on topics decided by the recruiters to judge the communication and speaking skills of students. After clearing the GD round, students also need to go through various rounds of Interview namely Technical Interview and HR Interview conducted by various recruiting companies to test the technical knowledge, communication skills and confidence of students.
Job Offer- Students of Auro University, Surat qualifying all rounds of tests and interviews, are then offered job offers and salary packages depending on their performance and overall scores in their academics.

College Infrastructure

Yes, Auro University has all the necessary infrastructure. We have smart classrooms, a good library, enough space for sports and a nice hostel. Yes all the places are clean and hygiene and food is tasty.

Our college has all the facilities like 12 buildings and a big ground of 150 acres our libraries are very much big it consists of two floors and we also have wifi facilities and our campus is well maintained and cleaned

Our college is very good competitivelyto other collage.it has a large large campus which has all facility bit it just don't have sport ground it has WiFi facility and has laboratory also it also has computer lab etc.
