Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, also known as BRABU, is one of the most popular and reputed institutes in Bihar. It was established in 1960 and is based in the Muzaffarpur city of the state. The university is approved by the UGC. Also, it has been accredited the B grade by NAAC(National Assessment and Accreditation Council). It has a total of 17 affiliated colleges, 39 constituent colleges, and 2 business management colleges. In addition to this, it also provides students with the option of distance learning for many courses. The university offers a total of 59 courses that include undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses for the students. It is a state-based government university. BRABU has about 1560 student enrollments that are supported by 144 faculty members.

Step 1: First, the university talks to the various recruiting companies about their vacancies and offer them a date to arrive on-campus for the entire placement process. The companies give the university the required information including job descriptions, tentative salary packages, and other requirements from the students.

Step 2: The university then filters its students based on their eligibility for each company. The students are given pre-placement talks and they are informed about the date of arrival of the companies.

Step 3: On the day of arrival, the students first submit their documents and resume along with other details. Then they sit for the written test for entry in the firm.

Step 4: The students that pass the written test go through one or two rounds of group discussions after which a list of selected students is released. These selected students further go through a personal interview.

Step 5: If the students succeed in the interview, they are offered the job by the firm and an offer letter is given.
