About Bangalore University
The Bangalore-based Bangalore University (BU) was established in 1964. Few colleges and organisations are affiliated with Bangalore University. Minorities Scholarship | The candidates belonging to minorities (i.e., Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Anglo-Indians, Jains, etc.,) whose Parents’ Annual Income is less than INR 44,500 are eligible to apply for Encouragement Fund/ Fees reimbursement from Minorities Welfare Department (MWD) as per the norms of MWD. |
Special Scholarships | Special Scholarships for Children of Government Employees/University Employees who die in harness, administered by the Director of Collegiate Education or the University as the case may be. |
Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship | Single Girl Child who happens to be the only child or girl who is a twin daughter in the family is eligible to apply only through online mode. |
Honorable Vice Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship | The scholarship is for meritorious students (1st to 5th Rank) who come under the Below Poverty Line as defined by the Government of Karnataka. For each department of Bangalore University, the grant amounts to INR 500 per month for 10 months per year. |

I hope you are doing good . As per your query , I would like to aware you that baclog subjects exams are conducted in very next semester only . If you have cleared the all the semesters with no backlogs, then only you will receive degree from bangalore university . You can contact to hod regarding your issue ,then apply for backlog exam by giving backlog fees . They will give you date when slots are free
