About BPSMV Sonipat
Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya (BPSMV), Khanpur Kalan is a state university, established in 2006 by an act of Haryana Legislature. The University is recognised by the UGC. BPSMV is the first state Women University in North India. The university is spread over 500 acres of networked. BPSMV has established the Centre for Society- University Interface and Research (CSUIR) which offers innovative programmes like Integrated Energy Resource Management, Micro Finance Practices, and Folk Medicine. The university is awarded an Area Study Centre on Indic-Asian Studies (CIAS) by UGC. BPSMV offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in art, science, commerce, legislature, pharmacy, management, technology, education, health and physical education through its campus departments and affiliated colleges.
Location: Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan is located at Ganaur Road, Khanpur Kalan, Haryana. Centre for Society University Interface & Research (CSUIR): Centre for Society University Interface & Research (CSUIR) organises the courses and activities which are of direct relevance to the rural community. Through its various activities, it bridges the disconnection between Universities and society.
NSS: NSS volunteers of BPSMV actively take part in a variety of activities, which include blood donation, family life education, functional literacy, help for the visually impaired, college-campus cleanliness, skill development and leadership and personality development.
