Placement is the process of recruiting final-year students or students nearing the completion of their courses to provide them job opportunities. Being an aerospace student, I have not yet encountered any senior who got placed in aerospace. But other branches get good placements in good company with good salary package. Mostly aerospace students go for higher studies and then apply for off-campus jobs in aviation companies.
The college offers guaranteed placement. Many companies visit our campus for offering jobs to students. Many students go for higher studies and apply for off-campus jobs. Previous year a CS students was being offered 27LPA by amazon and average salary package lied between 5-6 LPA. In upcoming years, definitely the placement records will improve and more students will get placement in college.
The college provides 60%-70% of placement. Many companies like infosys, hyundai, etc visit companies with job offers for students. The college is trying their best to improve the placement quality in college. In upcoming years, changes will be seen in placement percentages. As stated by seniors that the placement process is not so typical, but the one who deserves gets the job.
