BITS Pilani Placements

BITS Pilani has a placement committee to assist the final-year students in the placement process. Training like personality development training, soft-skills training, aptitude training, group discussions, mock interviews, etc are conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani placement committee to ensure selection of the students. The institute placement is conducted on-campus. Recruiters like Bain & Company, Snapdeal, Techmojo, Slice, Reliance Jio, Pfizer, Paypal, Maruti Suzuki, Alphonso, Goldman Sachs to name a few have visited the campus for the BITS Pilani placement drive. The institute conducts the placement process twice a year: August to November and January to April. Rooms for aptitude tests, group discussions and interviews, LCD projectors and computers are also made available for Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani placement.

BITS Pilani Placement Process

The institute placement committee contacts companies 2-3 months in advance of the placement drive.
Interested recruiters contact the committee with necessary data through a Job announcement form.
The requirements are scrutinised and further a formal invitation is extended to the companies.
With mutual consent, dates and time for presentation and selection is fixed.
Company details and visits are announced to the students through the announcement form.
Interested students who satisfy the eligibility criteria, have to apply for the job.
After that, student details are shared with the companies.
After reconfirmation of the company visit, accommodation is arranged at the campus guesthouse.
Student volunteers help in arranging the logistics and other essentials for the smooth conduct of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani placement process.
After the screening of the candidates, a list of selected candidates is announced.
Finally, selected students are extended the offer letters.

Payed internships are provided by the college in reputed companies. More than 90% of the students were placed. Median salary was around 9lakhs. Highest was above 50lakhs. Lots of reputed companies comes like Amazon, Microsoft, etc.
