Yes, BIT Mesra is an excellent institution for pursuing Masters in Business Administration (MBA). The teaching-learning process is student centric. The curriculum is framed such as case studies, problem solving exercises, management games and presentations are extensively used. Almost 80% students are placed every year with an average salary package of INR 10 LPA.

The admission to various courses in the institution is granted through different procedures. Seats in B.Tech and B.Arch courses are granted based on the all India rank in JEE-Mains through CSAB/JoSAA. Admission to B.Pharm is granted based on the merit list prepared considering the scores of class 12 and JEE-Mains/ NEET UG. For MBA, the percentile of CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT are considered followed by GD and PI whereas for M.Tech, GATE scores are considered. Boys are single accommodated in well furnished rooms whereas girls have to share their accommodation. The common facilities in the hostels include dining hall, common rooms (for indoor games), reading rooms, entertainment halls, and independent mess in every hostel.

Yes, BIT, Mesra offers scholarships to meritorious students. The scholarship named GP Birla BIT scholarships worth nearly 2.5 crores are offered to B.Tech and B.Arch programs. The scholarships aim to financially aid the students from economically weaker sections who have the potential to excel in their respective fields. The eligible candidates may avail of this financial aid by securing ranks as set by the institution on All India basis. The scholarship continuation after first semester is totally based on the GPA secured by the students as per the norms set by the institution.
