Central University of Punjab, Bathinda Admission Details: Eligibility, Dates, Application, Fees

To be eligible for admission in the university, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria determined by the varsity. Central University of Punjab admissions to all the PG courses are offered based on CUCET score. For admission in M.Tech and M.Pharma courses, the university also accepts GATE and GPAT scores respectively. As per the CUPB admission criteria, preference is given to GATE candidates in M.Tech admission, whereas, candidates with a valid score in GPAT are preferred in M.Pharma admission. The varsity admission to Ph.D courses is also done on the basis of CUCET score and personal interview performance. However, candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR/ASRB-NET, ICMR-JRF, GATE, GPAT, DBT-BET and JEST (Physics) are exempted from the entrance test. Central University of Punjab Admission Process - PG Courses

• Firstly, fulfil the eligibility criteria of the desired programme. 

• Next, register for CUCET, appear and obtain a valid score. 

• Register and participate in the online counselling conducted by the Central University of Punjab, Bhatinda.

• Candidates with valid GATE score are given preference in M.Tech admissions. And candidates with GPAT score are given preference in M.Pharma admission. 

• Based on candidates' CUCET score, seats are allotted to them. 

• Candidates to whom seats are allotted need to fill the admission form. 

• Complete the CUPB admission procedure by submitting the documents and depositing the course fee.

Central University of Punjab Ph.D Admissions

The Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme is offered in 35 specialisations. Some of the specialisations are chemistry, law, environmental studies, mass communication & media studies etc. Candidates need a postgraduate degree from a recognised university, in order to be eligible for CUPB Ph.D courses admission.

CUPB Admission Procedure - Ph.D Courses

• Only candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for Ph.D admission. 

• Appear for CUCET and obtain a valid score. 

• Candidates with a valid score in UGC/CSIR/ASRB-NET, ICMR-JRF, GATE, GPAT, DBT-BET and JEST (Physics) are exempted from the CUCET.

• On the announcement of the CUCET result, the university released a list of shortlisted candidates for a personal interview. 

• Based on the CUCET score and personal interview performance, the final list for admission is released by the university. 

• Candidates whose name is in the final list need to fill the admission form. 

• The last step is to submit the documents and pay course fees.
