Central University of Punjab, Bathinda Facilities
The university’s campus has all the necessary facilities and infrastructure required by students. A well-stocked library, boys hostel, girls hostel, gym, canteen, auditorium etc. are some of the Central University of Punjab facilities available at the campus. The library of the university has ample numbers of books, journals and newspapers. Both boys and girls hostels are located within the varsity premises. Apart from these facilities, the CUPB facilities list also includes a medical centre, wifi, transportation, laboratories, convenience store, guest room and a Bank. The Central University of Punjab also has sports facilities for students who have an interest in sports. The varsity has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities for students.
- Boys Hostel
The university provides accommodation facilities for boys students. An air-conditioned reading room is present in the boys hostel proximity. The reading room is well-stock with books along with computer and printing facilities. The boys hostel also has a mess cum canteen facility for the students.
- Girls Hostel
Accommodation facilities for girls students are located inside the campus only. The rooms of the girls hostel are spacious and ventilated. A canteen cum mess with an air-conditioned dining hall is available at the girls hostel.
- Medical/Hospital
A fully equipped health centre is available at the campus for students and faculty members. The health centre is run by a medical officer and support staff, available 24*7. Free medicines and first aid care is provided by the Central University of Punjab medical centre.
- Gym
The varsity has a fully functional gym at the campus. The gym has an air-conditioner and equipment for weight training, cardio and functional training. Students can make use of the gym after prior permission from the sports director of the university.
- Library
Central University of Punjab library was established in 2009. Currently, the library has over 44 thousand books, 45 journals and 34 newspapers and magazines. The library collection also includes over 36,000 e-books, 7429 e-journals and over 476 CD-ROM/DVD. The CUPB library also has an advanced Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC).
- Sports
The campus has indoor badminton courts, table tennis courts, outdoor badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court etc. for students. Furthermore, the university also has an athletic track and football ground. The university is shortly introducing a squash court and hockey ground for students.
- I.T Infrastructure
The computer centre of the university is fully air-conditioned and has rapid internet connectivity. The systems at the lab are updated regularly and have the latest software and hardware. For the safety of the data, each system has antivirus software. The university also has wifi for students and staff members.
- Cafeteria
A mess cum canteen is available to cater the needs of the students. The food provided is affordable and of optimum quality.
- Auditorium
The air-conditioned auditorium is equipped with modern facilities like multimedia projectors, sound system etc. The auditorium has a seating capacity of 250 people. It is the venue of various events conducted at the university.
- Transport Facility
The Central University of Punjab has a 32 seater bus for the students and staff members. It shuttles between Bathinda city and the City Campus at its scheduled time.

The entire campus of the varsity is wifi enabled. Students and faculty members can easily access the internet after logging in via the unique id and password provided by the university.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of Central University of Punjab is not up to mark. Because university is working in its temporary campus but all the necessary facilities are available there like classes, library, limited hostels & mess. It is the possibility that campus will shift up to December 2020 in 540 acre new campus. classrooms, library and laboratories equipped with projector & AC. If we talk about hostels, these are not much good for summers. Food is hygienic & living spaces & hostels are cleaned.
